The 11th-ranked Tennessee Volunteers beat the 13th-ranked Alabama Crimson Tide on Saturday, but the win will come at a cost.
The SEC fined Tennessee $500,000 for storming the field in a 26-10 upset victory over Alabama. Once an old-time college football tradition, now expensive.
Tennessee dominated from the opening kickoff. Alabama couldn't handle the defense. The Volunteers forced two turnovers in the first quarter, giving them an early 9-0 cushion.

In the second quarter, the Tide answered with a touchdown, but it would be their last of the game. Keelon Russell finished with 147 passing yards, and the offense totaled 93 yards in the first half.
The rest of the game got worse for Alabama as failed drives and another late turnover hurt the offense.
Tennessee will head to Columbia to take on South Carolina on Saturday, October 24 (3:30 p.m. ET, ESPN).
