1. Acceptance of terms
Accessing or using Rally & Roar signals your agreement to these Terms and our moderation policy. If you disagree with any portion, you must discontinue use immediately. We may update this document from time to time. Continued use after updates become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. Certain competitions may apply additional age or residency restrictions which will be stated in the event details. By registering you confirm that:
- The information you provide is accurate and complete.
- You will only maintain one Rally & Roar account at any time.
- You have not been previously suspended or removed from our services.
3. Account registration and security
When you create an account you agree to keep your email address and password up to date and confidential. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your login. Notify us immediately at team@rallyandroar.com if you suspect unauthorized access. We may audit, suspend, or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or disrupt the experience for other fans.
4. Fan submissions
You retain ownership of the photos, videos, and stories you contribute. By submitting content you grant Rally & Roar a worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, modify, and distribute that content in connection with competitions, recaps, marketing, and editorial programming. You are responsible for ensuring submissions:
- Do not infringe another person's intellectual property or privacy rights.
- Comply with NCAA, conference, and university policies relevant to the featured teams.
- Respect community guidelines including no hate speech, harassment, or explicit imagery.
We reserve the right to remove content, disqualify participants, or escalate to campus officials when necessary.
5. Voting and community conduct
Fan voting is intended to be fair, inclusive, and fun. You agree not to game the system through bots, automated scripts, or coordinated vote manipulation. Offensive behavior in chats, comments, or messaging features may result in loss of privileges. Rally & Roar may throttle, reverse, or invalidate votes if fraudulent activity is detected.
6. Communications
Account notifications are transactional and required for service updates (for example, competition results, security changes, or verification flows). Marketing emails or SMS alerts are optional and can be managed from your profile preferences. Standard carrier rates may apply to SMS communications.
7. Data usage and privacy
We collect and process personal information as described in our privacy guidelines to power authentication, moderation, analytics, and service improvements. Profiles may display information you provide, such as username, display name, and bio. You can update or delete your account at any time from the profile page. Removing your account will revoke platform access and delete stored submissions where legally permissible.
8. Service changes
We may update competitions, features, or availability at any time to improve the Rally & Roar experience. Significant changes to these Terms will be announced through in-product notices or email. When feasible we will provide advance notice before materially reducing functionality.
9. Termination
We may suspend or terminate access for any violation of these Terms, abusive conduct, or activity that risks the integrity of competitions. You may leave the platform at any time by deleting your account. Certain obligations, including intellectual property grants, disclaimers, and limitations of liability, survive termination.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Denver County, Colorado, unless a different venue is mandated by applicable university or conference agreements.
