The Texas A&M Aggies continued their downward spiral on Saturday, losing 27-6 to the Missouri Tigers on the road. It is their third loss in the past four weeks, with them falling to 3-3 overall and 1-3 in SEC play.

Texas A&M's defense kept the Aggies in the game, allowing just 10 points in the first half, but was worn down by Missouri's rushing attack, with the Tigers scoring 17 points in the second half to pull away. Missouri rushed for 252 yards, with running back Jamal Roberts carrying the ball 34 times for 222 yards and two touchdowns.

Unfortunately for the Aggies, the offense was once again unable to get going, failing to score a touchdown for the second time in their past three games. Quarterback Marcel Reed had another tough game, completing 19 of his 39 passes for 187 yards and two interceptions.

While he entered the season as the clear starter, his recent struggles have caused many fans to call for a change at quarterback, and head coach Mike Elko was asked after the game why he did not put backup Brady Hart into the game.

"It just doesn't feel like that's the move that would help us," he told Travis L. Brown of BTX Sports. "I will do whatever I believe is the right thing for this team to do, for sure... We're trying to figure out what the right thing to do is. That just doesn't feel like the right thing at the moment."

Reed looked good in Texas A&M's first two games, but has struggled once SEC play started. In four games against LSU, Kentucky, Arkansas, and Missouri, he has completed 68 of his 133 passes for 699 yards, one touchdown, and five interceptions.

Hart has played in three games, relieving Reed in blowout wins over Missouri State and Arkansas, and a blowout loss against LSU. He completed four of his nine passes for 36 yards, one touchdown, and one interception. He played in two games last year as a true freshman, completing five of his 10 passes for 62 yards.

Texas A&M HC Mike Elko on why not going to backup QB Brady Hart:
"It just doesn't feel like that's the move that would help us. I will do whatever I believe is the right thing for this team to do, for sure... We're trying to figure out what the right thing to do is. That just…
