The Ohio State Buckeyes will face the Maryland Terrapins without 10 players Saturday, including wide receiver Brandon Inniss and offensive linemen Phillip Daniels and Austin Siereveld. The game-day availability report leaves the Buckeyes short of both primary right-tackle options while raising additional questions at receiver and in the secondary.
Wide receiver Devin McCuin and cornerback Jay Timmons remain game-time decisions ahead of the 4:15 p.m. ET kickoff in Columbus. Their designations leave two availability decisions pending as the Buckeyes prepare for their homecoming matchup.
ESPN’s Pete Thamel took to X, formerly Twitter, on Saturday to share the Big Ten’s official report detailing both teams’ absences and game-time decisions.

Daniels had missed recent games after suffering a lower-body injury at Texas, and Siereveld had started at right tackle in his absence. With both unavailable, Ohio State must turn to another option at that position.
Inniss, the Buckeyes’ 2026 Block O recipient and a two-time captain, also leaves a gap in the receiving corps. McCuin’s uncertain status adds another personnel question for an offense featuring Jeremiah Smith.
The remaining players listed out are linebacker Christian Alliegro, defensive end Khary Wilder, safety Leroy Roker III, running back Anthony Rogers, Amari Valerio-Hudson, Jaxon Powell and Vasean Washington.
No. 5 Ohio State enters at 4-1 overall and 2-0 in Big Ten play, while the Terrapins arrive at 2-3 and 0-2. Big Ten Network will televise the game, which marks Ryan Day’s 100th as head coach.
Maryland also lists multiple absences, with defensive backs Jayden Shipps and Amari Jackson among its game-time decisions. The Buckeyes’ remaining availability questions now center on McCuin and Timmons before kickoff.
