After primary starter Faizon Brandon was listed as "questionable" on Wednesday night's Availability Report for Week 7, who will Tennessee end up starting at quarterback against Alabama on Saturday afternoon?

According to ESPN's Pete Thamel, that question has reportedly already been answered, as the Volunteers are set to start sophomore George MacIntyre against the Crimson Tide. It is currently unknown if Brandon will be available, as the next Availability Report will be released Thursday night.

MacIntyre is currently in his second season at Tennessee where he has primarily served as a backup with the Vols, appearing in seven games over the last two years. The sophomore did start his first collegiate game a week ago at Arkansas where he led Tennessee to a 24-17 win, completing 18-of-29 passes for 247 yards, one touchdown, and two interceptions, along with a 10.3 QBR.

Over five games this season, MacIntyre has completed 65.3% of passes for 395 yards with a 2:2 TD:INT ratio as a primary backup. Brandon, a true freshman, has also seen action in five games as Tennessee's starter where he has completed 60.4% of passes for 697 yards and a 7:1 TD:INT ratio, while also rushing for three scores.

The Crimson Tide and Volunteers are set to kickoff at 3:30 p.m. ET on Saturday afternoon from Neyland Stadium. Alabama-Tennessee will be available to watch on ABC.
