LSU football rides a two-game win streak into its bye week. Head coach Lane Kiffin and his team face the gauntlet of their SEC schedule to begin November. With their College Football Playoff hopes hanging in the balance, the Tigers need to take care of business for the rest of 2026.
The next three opponents LSU faces all rank in the top 20 of the US LBM Coaches Poll. The purple and gold are 2-2 against teams that are currently ranked in the most recent edition of the poll. It needs to bolster its resume to cement a postseason berth and picking up a few more ranked wins will help.
Coming out of its bye week, LSU hosts No. 10 Alabama in Week 10. The Crimson Tide ended their two-game skid with a victory against Texas A&M and are also off this week.
The purple and gold welcome No. 11 Texas to Baton Rouge in Week 11. The Longhorns defeated Ole Miss last week to snap a two-game losing streak after falling to Oklahoma and Florida. They face Mississippi State and Missouri before taking on LSU.
Tennessee hosts LSU in Week 12. The Volunteers fell six spots to No. 17 after losing to South Carolina. They play Kentucky and Texas A&M ahead of the purple and gold.
