The Clemson Tigers have made a second addition in their 2028 recruiting class, landing a commitment from three-star tight end Wright Martin, according to Hayes Fawcett of Rivals.

Clemson worked quickly to land the Nashville, Tennessee, product, offering him a scholarship in July as his recruitment took off over the summer. Martin picked the Tigers over the Ohio State Buckeyes, Georgia Bulldogs, and SMU Mustangs.

He is ranked as the No. 586 overall player and No. 28 tight end in the Rivals industry ranking. He is also the No. 24 player from Tennessee.

He has a productive start to his junior season for Chris Presbyterian Academy, one of the top football programs in Tennessee. In eight games, he has 30 receptions for 385 yards and 22 carries for 109 yards and three touchdowns. He is coached by his father, Ingle, who played quarterback for the Florida Gators and Furman Paladins and in the NFL.

Martin is Clemson's second commitment in the 2028 recruiting class, joining three-star quarterback Trace Hawkins. They are one of just six ACC schools to have multiple commits as they lay the groundwork for the class.
