Week 6 AP Top 25: Texas A&M remains unranked after ugly Missouri loss

The Georgia Bulldogs are the new top dog in this week's AP Poll, staking their claim as the No. 1 team in college football after defeating No. 6 Alabama in Tuscaloosa in Week 6.

Kirby Smart and company secured a 20-17 win over Kalen DeBoer and company in a thrilling late-night battle between the top SEC programs thus far. Meanwhile, the Texas Longhorns dropped to just No. 7 after losing to unranked Oklahoma in the Red River Shootout.

Ole Miss stayed put at No. 9, while the LSU Tigers fell to No. 22 after the overtime loss in Lexington. Missouri and Tennessee moved up a spot after their Week 6 conference wins, while Kentucky jumped 11 spots after an outstanding win over Lane Kiffin and the Tigers. Mississippi State moved up as the Bulldogs prepare for a road trip to Baton Rouge in Week 7.

Texas A&M's continued struggles resulted in another loss on Saturday, as the Aggies fell 27-6 to the Missouri Tigers in CoMo. They remain unranked in the poll, rightfully so, as the disappointment continues for a team that entered the season with much hype.
