The 2026 college football season enters Week 7.
Tennessee sophomore quarterback George MacIntyre made his first career start in Week 6. He completed 18-of-29 passing attempts for 247 yards, one touchdown and two interceptions in Tennessee's, 24-17, win at Arkansas.
Freshman quarterback Faizon Brandon started the first five games in 2026 for the Vols. He has completed 61-of-101 passing attempts for 697 yards and seven touchdowns, while recording 130 rushing yards and three touchdowns on 53 attempts.
Following Week 6, ESPN released updated Total QBR ratings for Football Bowl Subdivision quarterbacks.
Adjusted Total Quarterback Rating values a quarterback on all play types with a 0-100 scale that is adjusted for the strength of opposing defenses faced.
Below are SEC QBR season ratings entering Week 7. To qualify, a quarterback must play a minimum of 20 action plays per team game. Georgia quarterback Gunner Stockton is ranked No. 1, while Alabama quarterback Keelon Russell is ranked second in the SEC.
Brandon has a season QBR rating of 47.0 and MacIntyre has a 24.6 QBR season rating in 2026.
