The 2026 college football season continues to dazzle fans, as week after week sees more unexpected results and thrilling games. The story of the season is still being written, and there are four weeks left in the regular season before the conference championship games.

A truly remarkable slate of games awaits us in Week 10, with so many great matchups on the docket in the first Saturday of November. It's a truly loaded weekend, with great games from wall to wall. That said, a few games stand out above the rest.

Here at Sooners Wire, we'll be watching closely as the Oklahoma Sooners hit the road to face the Florida Gators after last week's disappointing loss. A new-look OU offense will certainly be the topic of discussion on Saturday night in Gainesville, and that game will kick off at 6:45 p.m. CT.

Here are the top seven games to watch in Week 10.

1. BYU at Utah, 11:00 a.m. CT

BYU and Utah meet again in the famed "Holy War," and this year's edition has incredibly high stakes in Salt Lake City. The fate of the Big 12 may very well rest on Saturday afternoon's clash, and the atmosphere should be excellent, even for an early kickoff. The Cougars rebounded from their upset loss to UCF two weeks ago with a win last week, and now head coach Kalani Sitake's team looks to prove it still has the upper hand in the rivalry. Quarterback Bear Bachmeier is one of the key players in this game, as his offense is going to have to keep pace on Saturday.

The Utes are one of three undefeated teams in the country right now, and they're coming off of back-to-back impressive wins. New head coach Morgan Scalley has his team in the Big 12 driver's seat, and they control their own destiny heading into November. A powerful offense, led by the two-quarterback system of Devon Dampier and Bryd Ficklin, makes this squad so tough to stop. They're looking for their first win in this series since 2019, with three straight losses they're hoping to erase.

2. Miami at Notre Dame, 6:30 p.m. CT

Miami and Notre Dame get their much-anticipated rematch, and this contest will take place in primetime in South Bend. Both teams have great playoff chances, but a loss would be much deadlier for one team than the other. The Hurricanes are flying high and undefeated, but they also haven't been tested like they will be on Saturday night. Head coach Mario Cristobal's team is the clear frontrunner in the ACC, and quarterback Darian Mensah is a Heisman Trophy candidate. A win on the road this week would solidify them as a top-flight contender.

The Fighting Irish have just one loss, but it came to BYU a few weeks back. After losing this game a year ago kept them out of the playoff, a loss in the rematch could do the same. Head coach Marcus Freeman's team has also been relatively untested so far. Quarterback C.J. Carr will have to have a great game to keep up with the opposing offense, and a win puts this team right back into contender status.

3. Georgia at Ole Miss, 6:30 p.m. CT

Georgia and Ole Miss met twice last season, and let's just hope this week's matchup is as good as those games were. The best game on a loaded SEC slate features two teams hoping to make a return playoff trip in 2026. The Bulldogs have just one loss, which came against Auburn a few weeks ago. Aside from that, head coach Kirby Smart again has his team looking like one of the nation's best. Quarterback Gunner Stockton played well in the two matchups last year, and he'll need another big day to build on last week's win over Florida.

The Rebels have two losses, including a rough defeat to Texas two weeks ago. However, a home win this week puts them right back in the SEC race, and it'd be one of the season's most impressive. Head coach Pete Golding needs a better defensive performance than what he's gotten in this series the last two times, and quarterback Trinidad Chambliss will likely have to have a third-straight memorable outing in this matchup. Oxford should be rocking on Saturday night.

4. Kentucky at Tennessee, 5:15 p.m. CT

Kentucky and Tennessee renew their rivalry in Knoxville on Saturday, and both teams have everything to play for entering November. The Wildcats have just one loss and are tied for first place in the SEC entering this week, as new head coach Will Stein has done a fantastic job with this team. They're red-hot, and they've been one of the surprises of the season. Quarterback Kenny Minchey has been a perfect fit, but Neyland Stadium can be too much for even the most composed signal-callers, so he'll have to be on point.

The Volunteers stumbled against South Carolina two weeks ago, but a strong finish could still see them land in the SEC title game. Head coach Josh Heupel and his team will be searching for consistency down the stretch, hoping to use a strong defense and running game to prevail. The quarterback situation has been a story all year, with George MacIntyre taking over for Faizon Brandon midseason. That's a story to watch in a big game this week.

5. Alabama at LSU, 2:30 p.m. CT

Alabama and LSU meet in another massive SEC clash, and with both teams boasting identical overall records, it's another important one in the league's standings. Baton Rouge should be rowdy on Saturday afternoon with a lot on the line. The Crimson Tide have two losses, but they've been solid outside of those two slip-ups. Head coach Kalen DeBoer and his team have flirted with the CFP bubble for the last two seasons, but a road win here would give them some more breathing room. Quarterback Keelon Russell returning to early-season form would be a huge bonus this week.

The Tigers have been in the spotlight a lot this year, and they've won two straight after a couple of earlier losses. Head coach Lane Kiffin's team has all kinds of talent, and if they get hot, they could be dangerous down the stretch. Quarterback Sam Leavitt has to take care of the ball against a defense that forces a lot of turnovers, and this game could turn into a shootout if two talented offenses can get going early on.

6. Texas at Missouri, 11:00 a.m. CT

Texas and Missouri will also be in the spotlight in the SEC this week, and they have the exact same records heading into Week 10. A clash of styles will be on display between two teams that are back in the same conference after years apart. The Longhorns have talent to burn and a strong defensive unit. Head coach Steve Sarkisian still has a chance to take his team to the CFP, but two losses already have those chances not as strong as he'd like. Quarterback Arch Manning was challenged after those losses, and he's responded well, but he'll have to keep pace this week on the road.

The Tigers had a strong stretch disrupted by a loss against Ole Miss a few weeks ago, but a win at home this week would put them right back into the SEC title picture, along with many of this week's other winners. Head coach Eliah Drinkwitz is going to lean on his offense to play well again this week, and they're hard to stop when they are rolling. Quarterback Austin Simmons has been exactly what they needed, but a big test for him and the offense awaits on Saturday afternoon.

7. Oregon at Ohio State, 2:30 p.m. CT

Oct 12, 2024; Eugene, Oregon, USA; Ohio State Buckeyes defensive end JT Tuimoloau (44) and defensive end Jack Sawyer (33) try to tackle Oregon Ducks running back Jordan James (20) during the first half of the NCAA football game at Autzen Stadium

Oregon and Ohio State face off in the most important Big Ten game of the week. Neither of these teams is exactly having the season they expected, but there's still plenty on the line as the season's final month looms. The Ducks have three losses and their playoff hopes are on life support, but an upset road win would give those hopes a boost. Head coach Dan Lanning has already made an offensive coordinator change, and the injury to quarterback Dante Moore has led to a QB carousel between Dylan Raiola and Brock Thomas. Currently, Raiola has the hot hand, so he's getting the start this week in Columbus.

The Buckeyes suffered a big blow with their second loss last week, and head coach Ryan Day is trying to overcome the injury loss of quarterback Julian Sayin. Luke Fahey is expected to start over Tavien St. Clair again this week, and though this team is down, they are certainly not out of the Big Ten race by any means. They need to take care of business at home this week, because there's very little margin for error if this team wants to make the conference title game or the playoff.
