FOX has officially announced that the Ohio State-Indiana rematch will kick off at noon ET. The No. 5 Buckeyes will travel to Bloomington to face No. 7 Indiana on Saturday. It is a rematch of the 2025 Big Ten Championship Game, which Indiana won 13-10. The Hoosiers went on to win the national championship.
This will be both teams’ third Big Noon Saturday appearance this season. FOX will have broadcasters Joel Klatt and Gus Johnson covering the matchup.
Fans were generally unhappy that the game was at noon instead of at night.
“What a waste of a game. Should be at night,” one fan wrote.
“How is this not a 3:30 game? Ridiculous,” another added.
“I’d rather play an away game at noon. Save the night game for when Oregon comes to the Shoe,” one fan added.
“Livin in Phoenix, wake up at 9:30 a.m. and the biggest game of the season for the conf already in 2nd qtr lol😡,” another fan commented.
“Of course it is. Consider me shocked. Didn’t see that coming. 😯” one fan said.
“The only way big noon games are going away is if people stop watching,” one fan remarked.
“Who’s scheduling games this season? It’s been awful for both premier conferences,” one fan asked.
Ohio State HC Calls Indiana a “Different Team” From Last Season
Ahead of the 2025 Big Ten Championship, Buckeyes head coach Ryan Day called Indiana “a different team” from the previous season and said the Hoosiers had “upgraded in a lot of areas.”
“Everybody wants to talk about last week, but we’re on to Indiana,” Day said. “This is the No. 2 team in the country right now. They’re undefeated. I think they’re playing as good as anybody in the country. They have a really good team, and we got to be ready to go.”
Ohio State has dominated the all-time series against Indiana. The Buckeyes lead Indiana 81-13-5. At Bloomington, Ohio State is 29-2-1 against the Hoosiers. Indiana’s last home victory over Ohio State came in 1988, when the Hoosiers won 41-7.
Last season, Indiana snapped Ohio State’s 29-game winning streak against them by winning 13-10 in the 2025 Big Ten Championship Game. The matchup is bound to have playoff implications. Indiana is off to a 5-0 start, while Ohio State is 4-1, including a loss against the Texas Longhorns. Whichever team wins the matchup will have an advantage in College Football Playoff positioning.
The latest AP Top 25 ranks Ohio State No. 5 and Indiana No. 7. This is probably because Ohio State has faced much stronger opponents.
