Former LSU national champion Breiden Fehoko is calling out Deion Sanders and the Colorado football program over their culture.
This came after offensive coordinator Brennan Marion was seen in a video parading around the locker room shirtless. Colorado seems like a team searching for a voice, something that didn’t seem to be an issue during Sanders’ first couple of years but has seemingly gotten worse over time.
Deion Sanders and Colorado Facing Growing Questions
Many are starting to realize that the cracks within the program are widening, and now it’s spilling over into the social media world, too, which is the last thing this program needs.
Fehoko wrote on X: “When your offensive coordinator parades around shirtless on Instagram Live, rapping like a player, it reflects on your program. No discipline. Since the menace video, they have averaged a whopping 11 PPG!”
This is clearly a bad look for the Buffaloes, who have struggled mightily since the tandem of Shedeur Sanders and Heisman Trophy winner Travis Hunter left for the NFL.
PREDICT THE CFB SEASON:PFN’s Free CFB Playoff Predictor
Colorado went 3-9 last season and is off to just a 2-3 start this year. Before that, the Buffaloes had their best season in a long time in 2024, going 9-4, but they hadn’t won more than five games in a season since 2016.
So, seeing this lack of discipline from higher-ups on the coaching staff only adds to the questions surrounding why this team continues to struggle on the field. Colorado is also going through a quarterback change, moving from former five-star prospect Julian Lewis to Isaac Wilson, and recently got blown out by Texas Tech.

They haven’t been able to muster anything on the offensive side of things, having a PFN CFB Team Offense Impact Grade of 66.5 so far in the 2026 season. Hopefully, the change at QB can give this team the jolt of energy it so desperately needs. The 2025 season was much the same as this year, not proving much better, only posting a 74.4 grade.

The fact that Marion is acting the way he is makes it all the more surprising, given the numbers. The fact that they can’t rely on Sanders and Hunter to carry the offense shows the coaching staff is just winging it, with no clear game plan or direction.
If this mess continues, the writing could be on the wall for another overhaul in Boulder, from the coaching staff to the roster.
