The Missouri Tigers improved to 5-1 (2-1 SEC) with a 27-6 win over the Texas A&M Aggies on Saturday in Columbia. With the win, Mizzou jumped one spot to No. 13 in the latest AP Top 25 poll — setting up a huge game at No. 9 Ole Miss on Saturday afternoon (2:30 p.m. CST on the SEC Network).
Let’s get to the latest MV3 after a big-time win.
1. Jamal Roberts

Run the dang ball. That’s what ‘Mal did on Saturday. On 34 carries, Roberts had 222 rushing yards and two touchdowns — following up his 211-yard performance vs Florida. He becomes the first Mizzou player to have back-to-back games of 200-plus rushing yards.
The last two SEC running backs to accomplish that stat? Derrick Henry and Leonard Fournette.
Pretty elite company for Roberts to be in, as Mizzou is becoming “RBU.”
2. Trajen Greco

Mizzou’s defensive performance was elite on Saturday — and Greco was a huge reason why. He contributed for three total tackles, an interception, and a pass deflection to make Marcel Reed uncomfortable all afternoon. His INT came at an opportune time at midway through the second quarter with a 7-3 Mizzou lead.
3. Nicholas Rodriguez

The junior linebacker is certainly playing at a elite-level. Rodriguez contributed for 13 total tackles with 1.5 TFLs and 0.5 sacks. Making a case for first team All-SEC honors, Rodriguez currently leads the conference (and all of FBS) with 63 total tackles through six games.
