Texas quarterback Arch Manning was named one of 15 remaining candidates for the Johnny Unitas Golden Arm Award. The senior advanced from the 27-player preseason watch list as the selection process moves toward its finalist stage.
Through four starts, Manning had completed 73 of 115 passes for 862 yards and seven touchdowns while adding 82 rushing yards. The award also weighs leadership, sportsmanship, academics and citizenship alongside on-field performance.
