The Bearcats defense intercepted Red Raiders QB Will Hammond once and outgained their opponents 427 yards to 400. Now at 5-2 on the season, Cincinnati has become a team to watch down the stretch of the 2026 college football season.

Coach Joey McGuire’s Red Raiders came into the day 6-0 and left with their first blemish of the season as their defense was gashed on the ground by Tabb and others. The Red Raiders had a balanced rushing attack led by J’Koby Williams and Quinten Joyner, who combined for 150 yards and a touchdown, but couldn’t keep pace with the Bearcats, Travis and Jason Kelce’s alma mater, on a shocking day in southern Ohio.

Cincinnati QB JC French completed 19-of-30 passes for four touchdowns and two interceptions while adding 46 rushing yards on 12 carries to lead his team to the huge win.
