The Auburn Tigers dropped their most recent game to the No. 14 Tennessee Volunteers and will be 3-2 heading into their bye week.
Auburn's offense has struggled to produce yards and points over its first five games. Auburn averages 27 points per game with a 14-point margin of victory in three wins this season, while scoring 26.5 points per game in its two losses, with a five-point margin of defeat.
Auburn quarterback Byrum Brown passed for over 200 yards in the Tigers' first three games, reaching a season-high of 271 yards in Auburn's Week 3 loss to Florida, but he has passed for under 160 yards in his last two games. Auburn's receivers have yet to turn in a 100-yard performance this season; Keshaun Singleton recorded 99 receiving yards in the Week 3 game against Florida, and led the Tigers in receiving in three different games.
Rushing-wise, Auburn has three players with over 200 rushing yards this season, and two players have turned in 100-yard rushing games; Omar Mabson had 108 yards in Auburn's Week 2 win over Southern Miss, and Byrum Brown most recently ran for 107 in the Tigers' Week 5 loss to Tennessee.

This is a category Auburn did not want to lead. Auburn quarterbacks have thrown seven interceptions through five games, tying LSU for the most in the SEC. Tennessee threw its first interception of the season last week when Auburn linebacker Xavier Atkins picked off Tennessee's Faizon Brandon in the second quarter. Because of this, Missouri is the only team in the SEC not to throw an interception in 2026.
