Tennessee head coach Josh Heupel kicked off game week Monday in preparation for the Vols' first SEC road contest of the season at Arkansas.
He discussed Tennessee's quarterback situation ahead of playing the Razorbacks in Week 6.
"We'll find out as the week goes here," Heupel said after being asked who will be Tennessee's starting quarterback in Week 6. "You know, George (MacIntyre) came in did some really good things. Faizon (Brandon), obviously, wasn't at his best dealing with, you know, getting injured in the Texas game, was affecting his game, and we'll go through the week here and you'll find out Saturday."
Freshman Faizon Brandon started for the Vols against Auburn in Week 5 and completed 3-of-8 passing attempts for zero yards and one interception. Sophomore George MacIntyre replaced Brandon and completed 8-of-10 passing attempts for 86 yards.
The No. 14 Tennessee (4-1, 1-1 SEC) and Arkansas (2-3, 0-2 SEC) game is slated for 4:15 p.m. EDT at Donald W. Reynolds Razorback Stadium in Fayetteville, Arkansas.
SEC Network will televise the game with Matt Schumacker (play-by-play), Aaron Murray (analyst) and Taylor Davis (sideline reporter) on the call.
