Tennessee football sophomore quarterback George MacIntyre is expected to make his third college start Oct. 24 (2:30 p.m. CT, ESPN) when the Vols face the South Carolina Gamecocks at Williams Brice Stadium in Columbia, South Carolina.

The Vols (6-1, 3-1 SEC), who are ranked No. 11 in the US LBM Coaches Poll, have won three in a row and are coming off a 26-10 home upset of the Alabama Crimson Tide on Oct. 17 during which their defense forced four turnovers, made nine tackles for loss and held Alabama to 201 yards of offense.

MacIntyre, a Brentwood Academy graduate, was 21-for-31 passing for 197 yards. Running back DeSean Bishop ran for 159 yards and two touchdowns and Cooper Ranvier made 4 of 4 field goal attempts.

South Carolina (3-3, 1-3) is coming off a 38-19 upset of then-No. 18 Florida on Oct. 10. It did not play last week.
