The Alabama football team suffered a bad defeat to Tennessee on Saturday. Alabama head coach Kalen DeBoershared a message to his Crimson Tide squad, after the 26-10 loss.
“We’ve been through this before, and we’ve gotten it done. We got to make sure we get it done here moving forward. I told the guys, this is a team that can do it,” DeBoer said, per 247 Sports.
Alabama didn’t score in the second half of the game. The Crimson Tide are now 5-2 on the season, and have now dropped back-to-back games to Tennessee and Georgia.

DeBoer wants his team to play much better.
“I just said, it’s going to be really uncomfortable. And again, everything that I said to those guys — it’s not like I didn’t feel like they didn’t practice. I mean, we had a lot of motivation to come back and have a great week, and prepare for this game.
“But moving forward, it’s even gonna be another level of uncomfortable. A lot of guys haven’t been through the last year or last two. I know they feel it. Our older guys have mentioned that even a couple weeks ago, just what it’s gonna be like here in this stretch,” DeBoer said.
Alabama’s offense really looked lackluster on Saturday. The Crimson Tide managed just 54 rushing yards. Alabama’s young quarterback Keelon Russell also threw two interceptions.
DeBoer is under fire from Alabama fans, as well as national analysts. He has yet to take Alabama to a national championship during his tenure in Tuscaloosa. This loss will add more fuel to the fire, although his team is still one of the best in the country.
Alabama looks to avoid a third straight loss, when they next play Texas A&M on Saturday.
