Saturday’s Week 10 college football schedule might be one of the best slates of matchups across the entire 2026 season. While Alabama vs Florida and Miami vs Notre Dame are the headliners, matchups like BYU vs Utah, Georgia vs Ole Miss and Kentucky vs Tennessee show there are plenty of other great matchups to enjoy this weekend.

Let’s dive into our Week 10 college football predictions.

It doesn’t matter that the Holy War is no longer a matchup of undefeated rivals. The hatred between these two programs is real and the loser on Saturday might be out of the College Football Playoff mix, with added bragging rights between the two fan bases and alums. A difference-maker in this matchup feels like the availability of running back LJ Martin. He was instrumental in the 24-21 victory over Utah last season, putting up 127 scrimmage yards (4.7 yards per carry) and set up multiple red-zone trips. His presence also opens things up for dual-threat quarterback Bear Bachmeier. Without him, the Cougars offense, (3.0 yards-per-carry average in last three games) struggles. As of now, we tend to believe that Martin will play but at less than 100 percent. That spells trouble given Utah’s defense (4.9 yards per play and 35.05 percent third-down conversion rate allowed) has been solid this year and they are well-balanced thanks to an offense carried by Devon Daniels (1,876 passing yards and 23 total touchdowns) and Wayshawn Parker (6.7 ypc and 9 rushing touchdowns). Home-field advantage and a more consistent offense lead us to pick Utah to win the Holy War.

Texas Longhorns 20, Missouri Tigers 17

The Missouri Tigers welcomed back running back Ahmad Hardy this past Saturday, but this backfield still belongs to Jamal Roberts (1,004 rushing yards and 9 touchdowns). Mizzou’s passing game has been far more effective than in previous seasons, with Austin Simmons (16-2 TD-INT and 8.1 yards per attempt) delivering four games with 295-plus passing yards this season. Reaching those numbers could prove far more challenging if the Texas Longhorns defense gets back edge rusher Colin Simmons (16 TFLs and 10.5 sacks in six games) in Week 10. Texas has been great at neutralizing the run (2.8 yards per carry, 10th in FBS this season) and it ranks 10th in sack rate (9.61 percent) with the sixth-lowest passer rating (106.9) allowed. Eli Drinkwitz’s abysmal record versus top 10 teams and an inconsistent Mizzou defense will be the reasons why Texas comes out on Saturday afternoon at Memorial Stadium.

LSU Tigers 28, Alabama Crimson Tide 21

While the LSU Tigers and Alabama Crimson Tide are both coming off a bye, these two programs were headed in different directions before it. LSU comes in off a two-game winning streak, with its defense surrendering just 280.5 total yards per game and two touchdowns (one in garbage time) in that span. The Tigers offense, meanwhile, has put up 34.3 PPG with a stellar 170.9 passer rating in the last three contests. Things haven’t been as good at Alabama, which is averaging just 94.3 rush ypg with a 34.2 percent third-down conversion rate in that same three-game span. It certainly hurts LSU that this game isn’t being played at night in Tiger Stadium, but the fact that Garrett Nussmeier is now doing a much better job protecting the football matters against a Crimson Tide defense that has been heavily reliant on takeaways this year. This will be Lane Kiffin’s first signature win with the Tigers.

Tennessee Volunteers 24, Kentucky Wildcats 20

Week 10 College Football Predictions, Week 10 College Football Picks
Tennessee running back DeSean Bishop (18) scores a touchdown during a NCAA football game against Kentucky at Kroger Field in Lexington, Kentucky on Oct. 25, 2025.

Don’t expect a ton of points in this Week 10 matchup between the Kentucky Wildcats and Tennessee Volunteers at Neyland Stadium. Under defensive coordinator Jim Knowles, Tennessee ranks 19th in scoring defense (17.3 PPG), 18th in yards per play allowed (4.5) and 21st in first downs per game allowed (17.4). Under first-year head coach Will Stein, Kentucky (7-1) has got outstanding production out of quarterback Kenny Minchey (14-1 TD-INT and 69 percent completion rate). In Knoxville, we’re picking a Volunteers defense with the second-best sack rate in the country (11.57 percent) and the lack of a consistent pass rush from Kentucky (62nd in sack rate) to be the difference-maker in this matchup.

Notre Dame Fighting Irish 38, Miami Hurricanes 35

A theme with many of our college football picks for Week 10 is relatively low-scoring games. We’re expecting the opposite on Saturday night at Notre Dame Stadium. Led by Heisman candidate Darian Mensah, the Miami Hurricanes offense comes into this one third in yards per play (7.0), fourth in red-zone trips per game (5.0) and second in first-half points per game (23.7). It’s that ability to come out of the gates hot that could cause problems for Notre Dame, which had a tendency to come out sluggish in the first half of games in October. With that said, it’s equally notable that the Hurricanes defense has been abysmal (417.7 total yards and 31 points per game allowed) in its last three contests. This is going to be a shootout that comes down to the final drives in the fourth quarter. In a game like that, home-field advantage and coaching make all the difference. We’re just not trusting Mario Cristobal in a big road game.

Georgia Bulldogs 28, Ole Miss Rebels 17

The Georgia Bulldogs defense returned from the bye and put a hurting on the Florida Gators. It was exactly the style of football Kirby Smart wants to return to and it allowed the Dawgs to win convincingly despite the fact that quarterback Gunner Stockton didn’t play particularly well. The Bulldogs defense will obviously face a much tougher challenge in Week 10, as Trinidad Chambliss is one of the best players in college football. However, the senior quarterback has thrown 7 interceptions in the last six games and his passing efficiency has dipped when opponents have kept him in the pocket and still been able to generate pressure. We anticipate seeing Georgia’s defense propel this team to a second consecutive win, picking Chambliss off twice en route to a big win in Oxford.
