The Tide is rolling into the final annual matchup with LSU this afternoon at 2:30, and it’s a big one. Alabama is ranked higher, but LSU is on a hot streak and are rightly favored, especially since it’s being played in Baton Rouge. The loser becomes a dreaded 3-loss team who will be facing a major uphill battle to still be in playoff contention.

While we all wait on pins and needles, there’s a whole slate of fun college football going on today. Here’s the rundown.

Right off the bat, we have #7 BYU and the undefeated #3 Utah kicking off at 11:00 am on ABC. These two teams have quietly found themselves in the top ten, and this one is going to shake up playoff rankings however it goes. At the same time, we also have another matchup of two-loss SEC teams in #10 Texas and #19 Missouri. Like with Alabama and LSU, the winner will have an inside track at the playoffs, while the loser will have a tough road ahead. So buckle up, this is going to be a good morning.

Also feel free to check on Auburn and Arkansas for an SEC derp-fest, or UCLA and Minnesota to see if this is the week the Bruins finally fall from their undefeated perch.

Consider this your open thread this morning. As always, here’s the full schedule for the day in Central Time, courtesy of CFBGrid.com.
