After another disappointing SEC result on Saturday, Texas A&M football received no votes in this week's AP Top 25.
Eight weeks into the 2026 season, the Aggies are 4-4 overall, including a 1-4 mark in conference play. This comes following a 31-20 loss to No. 13 Alabama on the road this weekend, as the program trucks on through a season they'd certainly like to forget.
Texas A&M's offense ranks 113th in the FBS in yards per game and 63rd in points per game, largely because of the quarterback quarrel involving Marcel Reed, who is tied for most interceptions in the SEC this season. To make matters worse, the Aggies have two ranked opponents left on the schedule and no room for error if they want to reach a bowl game this year.
They are not the only SEC team struggling, however. In this week's AP Top 25, Georgia is the only conference representative ranked inside the top five. Kentucky, Alabama, Texas and LSU join the Bulldogs as risers in the rankings, while Ole Miss, Tennessee and Missouri all took a tumble.
