Texas Tech basketball fans can start planning their winter viewing schedules. The Red Raiders have announced tipoff times and television assignments for the 2026-27 season, featuring prominent national broadcasts and several high-profile Big 12 matchups.

Grant McCasland's program will appear across nine television and streaming outlets, including ABC, ESPN, ESPN2, CBS Sports Network, FOX, FS1, TNT, Peacock, Prime Video and ESPN+.

And some of the biggest games will have the national spotlight.

Texas Tech opens the regular season Monday, Nov. 2, against Jackson State at United Supermarkets Arena. Tipoff is scheduled for 6 p.m. Central on CBS Sports Network.

But the first major test arrives just eight days later.

Illinois visits Lubbock on Tuesday, Nov. 10, for a highly anticipated non-conference showdown beginning at 7 p.m. on Peacock.

That matchup provides an early opportunity for the Red Raiders to make a national statement before the Big 12 schedule begins.

Fans won't have to wait until November to get their first look at the team, either.

Texas Tech travels to Rupp Arena for an exhibition against Kentucky on Friday, Oct. 23. The contest begins at 6 p.m. Central and will stream on SEC Network+.

Once conference play arrives, the Red Raiders will be featured in several nationally televised games against some of college basketball's most recognizable programs.

One of the biggest comes Saturday, Feb. 6, when Texas Tech visits Kansas at Allen Fieldhouse. The game tips off at 11 a.m. Central on ABC.

Nine days later, Houston comes to Lubbock for an ESPN "Big Monday" showdown on Feb. 15.

That matchup is scheduled for 8 p.m. Central and could carry significant implications for the Big 12 championship race.

Texas Tech also has an unusual scheduling wrinkle this season: two Friday night conference home games.

Arizona visits Jan. 22 for a 7 p.m. matchup televised by FOX. The Red Raiders then close the regular season Friday, March 5, against BYU at 8 p.m. on FS1.

Most non-conference home games will remain available through ESPN+, giving fans additional opportunities to follow the team throughout the season.

The Big 12's conference-controlled national television package includes 164 men's basketball games distributed across ESPN, CBS Sports, FOX Sports, NBC and TNT platforms.

For Texas Tech, the expanded national exposure reflects the program's continued prominence in one of college basketball's toughest conferences.

And with Illinois, Arizona, Houston and BYU all scheduled to visit Lubbock, United Supermarkets Arena should provide plenty of memorable nights.
