Texas A&M (2-2, 0-2 SEC) will host Arkansas (2-2, 0-1 SEC) after enduring its worst two-game losing streak under third-year coach Mike Elko, falling 31-21 at home to Kentucky and 35-6 in Baton Rouge to LSU, while looking lifeless on both sides of the ball in both defeats.

This week, Mike Elko and sophomore linebacker Noah Mikhail both discussed the team's communication issues that were a focus in practice, especially on defense, while starting quarterback Marcel Reed has been one of the worst-performing signal callers in the SEC through four games.

Yes, it's been much more negative than positive this season, but things can change on a dime if the Aggies pull it together and defeat Arkansas before taking on Missouri in Columbia next weekend. Texas A&M's roster is too talented to keep playing at this level, and first-year OC Holmon Wiggins must devise a game plan that helps get Marcel Reed out of his slump.

Texas A&M is better on paper than Arkansas, but former A&M wide receiver Chris Marshall, who leads the SEC in receiving, is the only real threat to the Aggie defense, especially since the Razorbacks are one of the conference's worst rushing teams.
