Texas A&M notched the fourth win of 2026 by defeating The Citadel 41-0. After the brief respite from an FCS opponent, the Aggies now jump back into SEC play with a visit to the Alabama Crimson Tide. Per FanDuel, Texas A&M is a 15.5-point underdog when they head to Tuscaloosa to take on the Tide. The over/under is set at 50.5.

The Tide are reeling after back-to-back losses to Georgia and Tennessee. Alabama got off to a 5-0 start, but things have obviously cooled down for Kalen DeBoer and company. The Tide’s win over Kentucky has aged well, and Alabama looked dominant against both Mississippi State and South Carolina, but two losses in a row can shake a team’s confidence. The all-time series is 13-3 in favor of Alabama, though the two teams haven’t met since the Elko era began in College Station.

Texas A&M is more than a two-touchdown dog for a reason. Though the Aggies won big against The Citadel and Bama has lost back-to-back games, the Tide are still one of the best teams in the SEC. The Aggies are going to have to steal a couple in the back half of the schedule to get to bowl eligibility but I don’t see that happening in Tuscaloosa.
