Texas A&M football is bringing a familiar look to Tuscaloosa, hoping a change in appearance accompanies a much-needed change in results. The Aggies unveiled their popular "Icy Whites" uniforms Thursday ahead of Saturday's SEC showdown against No. 13 Alabama.
The all-white combination features white helmets with maroon script "Aggies" lettering, white jerseys, white pants and maroon accents. Freshman linebacker Tamarion Watkins modeled the uniforms in a team-produced video accompanied by the message, "Feelin' Icy."

Aggies fans have reason to remember the look.
Texas A&M wore the combination during its dramatic 41-40 victory at Notre Dame in September 2025, when Marcel Reed connected with Nate Boerkircher for the winning touchdown with 13 seconds remaining.
The Aggies would certainly welcome another memorable road performance.

Mike Elko's team enters Saturday at 4-3 overall and 1-3 in SEC play, searching for its first victory against a ranked opponent this season.
Last weekend's 41-0 demolition of The Citadel provided some relief following a disappointing 27-6 loss at Missouri. But beating an FCS opponent isn't the same as winning inside Bryant-Denny Stadium.
The Aggies know the difference.
Offensive coordinator Holmon Wiggins needs to build on the rushing success that helped Texas A&M control last week's game.
Freshman running back KJ Edwards delivered a career-high 116 rushing yards on 13 carries, while sophomore Jamarion Morrow scored three touchdowns.
Reed, meanwhile, threw for 130 yards and a touchdown before giving way to backup Brady Hart.
That's encouraging, but Alabama presents a far more demanding challenge.
The Crimson Tide's defensive front has been effective against opposing running games, potentially forcing Reed to attack through the air.
That's where A&M could find opportunities.
Alabama enters the matchup ranked 101st nationally in passing defense, creating openings for the Aggies if Reed can consistently complete shorter throws and avoid turnovers.
The urgency is real.
Texas A&M hasn't won at Alabama since Johnny Manziel led the Aggies to a stunning 29-24 victory in 2012.
Another loss would drop Elko's team to 1-4 in conference play and make an already disappointing season considerably more difficult to salvage.
The Aggies have reportedly held multiple players-only meetings as they search for answers, but Saturday provides the only response that ultimately matters.
Winning.

Texas A&M has already experienced what a dramatic road victory looks like in those white uniforms.
Now the Aggies need the performance to match the appearance.
