Mya Brandon scored her first goal for Texas in the 27th minute against No. 8/4 Tennessee, then assisted Ashlyn Anderson’s go-ahead goal 47 seconds later.
The sophomore’s contribution helped Texas secure its first SEC point under head coach Margueritte Bates. It is Brandon’s first career weekly conference honor.
