The Texas senior quarterback earned his first preseason selection for the quarterback award.
Texas quarterback Arch Manning has been named to the Manning Award preseason watch list for the first time. The honor follows a 2025 season in which he was one of the award's 15 finalists.
Manning passed for 3,163 yards and 26 touchdowns in 13 starts last season. He also added 399 rushing yards and a team-high 10 rushing touchdowns as Texas finished 10-3.
