An absolutely WILD day of college football has shaken up both polls, just past the midway point of the season. Tennessee was a part of the many upsets, dominating Alabama 26-10. The win pushed the Volunteers to 6-1 on the season and 3-1 in SEC play.

Tennessee moved up to No. 11 following all of Saturday’s wild results. Alabama moved down to No. 13.

Miami, after somehow (and perhaps questionably) surviving Florida State, is your new No. 1 team. BYU jumps up to No. 2 after beating Notre Dame. Ohio State, Notre Dame and Georgia round out the top five.

With the first College Football Playoff rankings coming out just around the corner, Tennessee is now in a position to be in the thick of the race.

Here’s a look at the new rankings, which have a much different feel to them after a historic weekend.
