No. 14 Tennessee (2-0) will return to Neyland Stadium in Week 3. The Vols will host Kennesaw State (1-1) on Saturday.

Kickoff between the Vols and Owls is slated for 7:45 p.m. EDT. SEC Network will televise the nonconference matchup with Dave Neal (play-by-play), Cole Cubelic (analyst) and Ashley Stroehlein (sideline reporter) on the call.

Saturday will mark the first meeting all time between Tennessee and Kennesaw State.

Jerry Mack is in his second season as Kennesaw State's head coach. He guided the Owls to a 10-4 (7-1 CUSA) record and won the 2025 Conference USA championship.

Mack served as Tennessee's running backs coach from 2021-23. He left the Vols for the NFL after the 2023 season, serving as Jacksonville's running backs coach in 2024.

Mack was also a head coach at North Carolina Central from 2014-17, compiling a 31-15 (26-6 MEAC) record. He won three consecutive Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference championships from 2014-16.
