Tennessee football will play Texas A&M in a late afternoon game in its second trip to College Station, Texas, in program history.
The SEC announced that the game will start between 3 p.m. and 4:15 p.m. ET on Nov. 14 and televised on ESPN or SEC Network. However, the exact kickoff time and broadcast arrangements will not be announced until after the Nov. 7 games have been played.
Tennessee will face off with quarterback Marcel Reed, a Nashville native, and cornerback Rickey Gibson, who transferred from UT to Texas A&M in January. The game will be played at Kyle Field, which has a capacity of 102,733.
The Vols have played the Aggies only five times, touting a 3-2 record in the series. That includes two games in Knoxville (2020, 2023), one in College Station (2016), the 1957 Gator Bowl and the 2004 Cotton Bowl.
The last meeting was Tennessee's 20-13 win in 2023 at Neyland Stadium in coach Josh Heupel's third season. In 2016, the Vols lost 45-38 in double overtime despite Joshua Dobbs' 398 yards passing and Alvin Kamara's 127 yards rushing and 161 yards receiving.
Before the Texas A&M game, No. 16 Tennessee (6-2, 3-2 SEC) plays No. 7 Kentucky (7-1, 5-1) on Nov. 7 (6:15 p.m. ET, ESPN) at Neyland Stadium.
