Tennessee's freshman starting quarterback is among 37 players on the preseason list.
Tennessee quarterback Faizon Brandon has been selected for the Shaun Alexander Freshman of the Year Award's 37-player preseason watch list. The award recognizes the top freshman player in college football.
Brandon, who enrolled in January and won the starting job during preseason camp, enters his first college season after a decorated high school career that included consecutive state championships.
