Tennessee completed its second and final preseason camp scrimmage at Neyland Stadium, working for nearly two hours with crowd noise and an emphasis on situational football.
Coach Josh Heupel said the defense created turnovers and played assignment-sound football, while the offense still had communication details to sharpen. Sophomore George MacIntyre and freshman Faizon Brandon remain in competition for the starting quarterback job.
The Vols now move into mock game week. Their 2026 opener is scheduled for Sept. 5 against Furman at Neyland Stadium.
