FORT WORTH - TCU football has had two weeks to regroup, but Saturday's trip to Baylor could determine whether the Horned Frogs can turn their disappointing season around.
TCU (2-3, 0-2 Big 12) travels to McLane Stadium in Waco for the 122nd meeting of the state's most-played college football rivalry, facing a Baylor team that's won four consecutive games and remains unbeaten in conference play.

For head coach Sonny Dykes, the stakes are growing.
The Horned Frogs have dropped consecutive conference games against UCF and BYU, including a frustrating 17-10 home loss to the ninth-ranked Cougars before their bye week.
Meanwhile, Baylor (4-1, 2-0) has emerged as an early Big 12 contender, making Saturday's rivalry showdown particularly important for both programs.
TCU's biggest offensive weapon remains quarterback Jaden Craig.
The Harvard transfer has thrown for 1,400 yards through five games, averaging 280 yards per contest and recording three performances of at least 300 passing yards.
Under first-year offensive coordinator Gordon Sammis, the Horned Frogs have demonstrated an ability to move the football, but converting opportunities into touchdowns has been a continuing problem.
That was especially evident against BYU, when TCU's offense struggled despite a defensive performance that limited the Cougars to just 216 total yards.
The Horned Frogs will need considerably more production against Baylor.
Running back Jeremy Payne leads TCU with 432 rushing yards, while receiver Ed Small has emerged as Craig's top target with 403 receiving yards.
Defensively, TCU has been considerably more impressive than its record suggests.
The Horned Frogs are allowing opponents just 14 first downs per game, the fewest in the Big 12 and sixth-fewest nationally.
Safety Jamel Johnson anchors an experienced secondary, while defensive linemen Markis Deal, Ansel Din-Mbuh and Paul Oyewale provide a veteran presence up front.
But stopping Baylor won't be easy.
The Bears enter Saturday riding a four-game winning streak after dominating Arizona State 55-19 in their most recent outing.
Quarterback DJ Lagway leads Baylor's offense, with running back Dawson Pendergrass and receiver Gavin Freeman providing additional playmaking ability.
There is some history working in TCU's favor.
The Horned Frogs lead the all-time series 60-54-7 and have won nine of the last 11 meetings, including last season's 42-36 victory in Fort Worth.
Dykes has also performed well following extended preparation, posting an 11-4 record when his teams have at least one additional week before a game.
But the past won't determine Saturday's outcome.
TCU needs better offensive execution, fewer wasted opportunities and another strong defensive effort to knock off a Baylor team playing with considerable confidence.
