TCU’s defense held No. 9 BYU to 62 passing yards, the fewest the Horned Frogs have allowed since an October 2017 game against Kansas. BYU’s 101 first-half yards were also the lowest total by a top-10 opponent against TCU since the 2014 Peach Bowl.

Tight end Kari Ashley recorded 108 receiving yards and his fourth touchdown catch of the season. Hudson Hooper matched a career high with eight tackles, while John Hoyet Chance delivered a career-long 66-yard punt that was downed at the one-yard line.
