After each week in the SEC football standings, there seems to be a weekly change. One exciting thing about the SEC in most years and especially this year is that it's ultra competitive and you never know what each week will bring. That being said, the weekly SEC football standings look slightly different at the top once again this week.

Week 9 wasn't as crazy as previous weeks, but one team that made a clear statement on Saturday was the Georgia Bulldogs. The Bulldogs dominated the Florida Gators by a 27-8 final score. The Bulldogs defense showcased just why it could be the best defense in all of the country.

The Georgia Bulldogs currently have a 5-1 SEC record and the Kentucky Wildcats also have a 5-1 SEC records. Both sit atop of the conference in the SEC football standings. There are currently eight teams ranked in the top 25 of the US LBM Coaches Poll. The eight teams that are in the poll are, No. 2 Georgia, No. 7 Kentucky, No. 9 Alabama, No. 11 Texas, No. 12 Ole Miss, No. 15 LSU, No. 16 Tennessee and No. 19 Missouri.
