Now with Pete Golding the head coach of the Ole Miss football team, the program led by Chambliss looks to prove any doubters wrong, as one coach doesn’t put stock in Kiffin’s impact on the signal-caller.According to Adam Rittenberg of ESPN, he would have intel on the sport’s top quarterbacks, as he got insight into how fellow coaches in the SEC feel about Chambliss. He closed out the regular season throwing for at least 300 yards and, without Kiffin in three College Football Playoff games, Chambliss impressed in helping knock out Tulane and Georgia, though falling in a close contest to the Miami Hurricanes.Chambliss would get high praise from multiple SEC defensive coordinators:“You could see his ability, his arm strength and arm talent coming out of [Division II] Ferris State,” one SEC defensive coordinator said. “And then watching the whole season, his ability to make plays with his feet when things break down was exceptional.”“Trinidad is not underrated now, and he’s a quick decision-maker,” another SEC defensive coordinator said. “He makes fast decisions. He can obviously hurt you with his legs, can hurt you with his arm. He’s just a playmaker.
