Tennessee football hosted a bevy of visitors for yet another win on the Third Saturday in October.
On the third Friday of October, though, the future of the Vols again shone. A future signal-caller accounted for six more touchdowns, while one commit opted for a different future.
Here’s how high school players who will be donning the orange and white performed during the Oct. 16 slate.
Five-star running back David Gabriel Georges (2027)
Tennessee’s highest-ranked commit watched cigar smoke fill the inside of Neyland Stadium, fresh off a two-touchdown performance Friday night.
The Vols hosted the five-star running back for another visit on the Third Saturday in October. He made his way to Knoxville after an extremely light workload the night before.
Gabriel Georges rushed the ball just six times for 51 yards and two touchdowns. He also added two receptions for 22 yards in a 41-14 win over Legacy School.
The French running back went viral on X for a play he didn’t even record a statistic on. Gabriel Georges, playing on special teams, leveled a member of the kicking team to spring his teammate free for a long kickoff-return touchdown.

It also happened to be Senior Night for the Baylor School (Tenn.) star. Gabriel Georges is up to 852 yards and 15 touchdowns on 85 carries this season, according to MaxPreps.
Four-star quarterback Kaden Craft (2028)
A week after beating South Iredell by 60 points, Craft put together a rather sluggish performance against North Iredell — he led Lake Norman (N.C.) to a 59-0 win on Friday night.
Craft accounted for another six touchdowns to improve to 8-0 on the season. The borderline five-star signal-caller tossed five touchdown passes on just six completions. He threw for 185 yards on 6-of-10 passing with a long pass of 74 yards. He added another 17 yards rushing and a touchdown on the ground.
Craft is now up to 1,710 yards passing and 21 touchdowns through eight games. For reference, he had 1,739 yards and 17 touchdowns in 12 games as a sophomore a year ago. The efficient passer has completed 69% of his passes and thrown only two interceptions while guiding his Wildcats to an undefeated record with ease.
Three-star quarterback Derrick Baker (2027)
Tennessee’s more immediate passer arriving on campus next season put forth another strong showing for his Georgia powerhouse school.
Baker went 13-of-16 for 174 yards and four touchdowns in a 41-12 win over Alpharetta. Milton is now 6-1 and has won five straight games since a Week 2 heartbreaker.
The quarterback commit is up to 20 passing touchdowns this season, compared to four interceptions. Baker has completed 66% of his passes and has an additional 264 yards and five touchdowns on the ground.
JUCO defensive lineman Christian Mays (2027)
The Vols recently lost the No. 3 junior college player in the country.
Mays, a 6-foot-4, 285-pound defensive lineman from Northeast Mississippi Community College, flipped his commitment to Georgia on Oct. 19. Mays visited over the weekend, when the No. 1-ranked Bulldogs lost to Auburn.
Mays has one sacks and five tackles for loss in eight games this season.
Four-star wide receiver Kesean Bowman (2027)
A top-100 player in the 2027 class, Bowman has been at-risk of a flip to other schools.
When an article was posted to VolsonSI hinting at Ole Miss being a school to watch in his recruitment, the receiver commit since March quieted the rumors.

He is a product of Brentwood Academy outside of Nashville, Tenn. Bowman was high school teammates with current Vols starting quarterback George MacIntyre.
Bowman’s junior season was productive in 2025, finishing the year with an 11-1 record and a state championship game appearance. He recorded 49 catches for 665 yards and 11 touchdowns.
