All Knoxville eyes will soon be on the prized future of the 2027 recruiting class.
But before David Gabriel Georges and Baylor School make the trek to the city where he’ll soon be playing, the five-star running back made a successful stop in Nashville to claim a region championship.
Here’s how the future of Tennessee football performed Oct. 23.
Five-star running back David Gabriel Georges (2027)
After multiple weeks with a light workload for the multi-million dollar high schooler, Gabriel Georges shone in Week 10 of the TSSAA season.
Traveling to the mid-state to face Ensworth, Gabriel Georges put his abilities on display. He rushed 17 times for 139 yards with two total touchdowns. Gabriel Georges helped Baylor School (Tenn.) claim the DII-AAA East Region title with a 27-7 win over the Tigers.
Gabriel Georges wasn’t made available to Nashville media after the game, but head coach Erik Kimrey spoke to media, including The Tennessean, on his behalf.
“At the end of the day, he’s an 18-year-old guy. He loves football and he’s great with his teammates and his friends, he’s just not a guy that loves to do a lot of interviews,” Kimrey said. “(Around the team) he’s super loose. He’s very bubbly. He’s playful. He’s got a great personality.”
The native Canadian is up to 127 carries for 1,154 yards and 20 touchdowns this season, adding 16 catches for 306 yards and three more touchdowns.
Watching David Gabriel Georges run the ball is just fun.
He didn’t score here, but I love the way he guides his blockers and then his ability to cut just isn’t fair. #Vols fans have every right to be as excited as they are for this kid to get to Knoxville. pic.twitter.com/1ab1JGFv1P— Joe Spears (@joe_spears7) October 24, 2026
Gabriel Georges will get his spotlight moment to conclude the regular season. With Baylor School facing off against Knoxville Catholic in Knoxville, the game is being played at Covenant Health Park. The home of the Knoxville Smokies seats 6,355 for a regular game, and Tennessee fans can get a look at the future star back on Oct. 30.
Four-star quarterback Kaden Craft (2027)
The Vols will have to wait another year for Craft to make it to campus, but he’s putting a winning trait on display at Lake Norman (N.C.).
Craft went 17-of-21 for 184 yards, a touchdown and an interception. He added another 11 carries for 35 yards and a pair of scores on the ground.

Craft has his Wildcats at 9-0 with one week remaining in the regular season.
Three-star quarterback Derrick Baker (2027)
Baker found himself in a classic Big 12-like shootout on Friday.
Coming out on the winning side of a 49-46 final for Milton (Ga.), Baker led the Eagles to 32 second-half points against Gainesville. Milton trailed 30-17 at the break.
Baker went 11-of-21 for 197 yards, three touchdowns and an interception. He rushed for another 116 yards on 10 carries with two rushing scores.
