Week 6 is (mostly) in the books, and it was a wild weekend across the sport.
We're sure to see some shakeup in the US LBM Coaches Poll on Sunday entering Week 7 after a trio of top-10 teams went down, including No. 1 Texas against rival Oklahoma. No. 10 LSU, meanwhile, lost on the road in overtime against Kentucky on a two-point conversion. Alabama also lost in a tough battle against Georgia, which is likely to take over the No. 1 spot.
Elsewhere in the top 25, Oregon suffered a two-point loss to UCLA at home. The Ducks are likely to fall in the polls, but the Bruins could surge this week. Florida also suffered its second blowout loss in a row and will almost certainly drop out of the rankings despite its 4-2 record and win over Ole Miss.
A pair of ACC teams are also likely dropping out after Duke lost to Georgia Tech on a missed chip shot field goal while Pittsburgh lost to UNC in the first start for backup quarterback Holden Geriner.
As we make sense of a wild Saturday, here's our prediction for what the coaches poll could look like on Sunday.
