Oklahoma State football vs Tulsa live updates: Start time, TV channel for Week 1 game

TULSA — Oklahoma State hired football coach Eric Morris 284 days ago. This is the most-anticipated day of the Morris era yet.

The Cowboys begin their 2026 season at Tulsa’s H. A. Chapman Stadium (2:45 p.m. ESPNU). Morris, along with his North Texas transfers quarterback Drew Mestemaker, running back Caleb Hawkins and receiver Wyatt Young are part of the group injecting new energy into a program that won one game last season. Last year, Tulsa beat OSU 19-12.

The Cowboys carry an 11-game season-opening winning streak into the matchup, the fourth-longest streak among FBS teams. OSU’s last season-opening loss came in 2014 against Florida State.
