No. 1 Texas (3-0, 1-0 SEC) remains undefeated during the 2026 college football season. The Longhorns defeated No. 13 Tennessee (3-1, 0-1 SEC), 20-17, on Saturday at Neyland Stadium.

Rankings reflect the Week 4 US LBM Coaches Poll.

Texas quarterback Arch Manning completed 14-of-19 passing attempts for 201 yards and one interception. He also recorded negative one rushing yard on 11 attempts.

Tennessee quarterback Faizon Brandon completed 17-of-29 passing attempts for 145 yards and one touchdown. The freshman signal-caller also totaled two rushing yards on 23 attempts.

DeSean Bishop led the Vols in rushing yards (34), while Braylon Staley was Tennessee's leader for receptions (seven). Mike Matthews led the Vols with 72 receiving yards and one receiving touchdown.

Tennessee's offense totaled 221 yards (151 passing, 70 rushing). Texas finished the SEC opener with 262 yards (201 passing, 61 rushing).

101,915 were in attendance for the Checker Neyland contest.
