NFL Draft QB rankings for 2027: Arch Manning's stock falls after 4th-quarter meltdown originally appeared on The Sporting News. Add The Sporting News as a Preferred Source by clicking here.
Week 6 in college football saw the resurgence of some prominent quarterbacks, but Arch Manning certainly wasn't one of them.
The Texas star melted down in the fourth quarter of an upset loss to Oklahoma, throwing two backbreaking interceptions that changed the course of the game. The performance reopened discussions about whether Manning was crowned too early as the likely No. 1 pick in the NFL Draft.
For some quarterbacks, the weekend was a major success. South Carolina's LaNorris Sellers had his most impressive performance of the season in a road win over Florida, while USC's Jayden Maiava went into State College and handled business against Penn State.
Here's a look at the updated NFL Draft quarterback rankings for 2027 after Week 6 in college football.

NFL Draft QB rankings 2027
1. Dante Moore, Oregon
Moore remained out with a concussion against UCLA, but it's hard to argue that Oregon's disastrous loss to the Bruins didn't help his stock somewhat. Dylan Raiola was benched after going 6-of-19 for 43 yards and two interceptions, indicating Moore's up-and-down start to the season might not have been all on him. Unfortunately, Moore's timeline for a return remains a mystery, according to coach Dan Lanning.

2. CJ Carr, Notre Dame (+1)
Another week, another terrific performance for Carr, who didn't have to do much in a 58-7 win over Stanford. Carr went 14-of-20 for 181 yards and three touchdowns, giving him 16 touchdowns to one interception on the season. All eyes will be on what Carr can do on the road against BYU, as the Fighting Irish haven't exactly faced a grueling schedule early in the season.

3. Arch Manning, Texas (-1)
Manning might soon start running out of time to prove he's the top quarterback in this class, as his two interceptions overshadowed a day in which he did make some plays in the Red River Rivalry. Manning hasn't been as impactful with his legs this season, and he's thrown at least one interception in four of five starts even while not exactly running a high-volume passing offense. Manning will try to get back on track against a reeling Florida team on Saturday.

4. Darian Mensah, Miami
Mensah and Miami had Week 6 off, but the Hurricanes quarterback remains a prime Heisman contender with remarkable efficiency and no interceptions through his first five games this season. Miami will host Florida State this weekend, and the Seminoles don't look like a team equipped to give the 'Canes much of a scare.
5. Julian Sayin, Ohio State
The attention continues to be on Jeremiah Smith, but Sayin has been playing great football for the Buckeyes of late. The junior has thrown 11 touchdowns to one interception over his last three starts, and he will have quite a test on the road against Indiana less than a year after his Heisman hopes ended at the hands of the Hoosiers in the Big Ten championship game.

6. Drew Mestemaker, Oklahoma State
Mestemaker had another solid week against UCF, finishing 19-of-28 for 304 yards and two touchdowns in a win. The Oklahoma State quarterback will have to decide whether to return to school next season, which makes the final seven games of his season worth watching closely.

7. Trinidad Chambliss, Ole Miss
Ole Miss hung 52 points on Vanderbilt this past weekend, bouncing back nicely after a bad loss to Florida. Chambliss didn't post eye-popping numbers, but he had a nice day going 20-of-30 for 213 yards, three touchdowns and an interception. The questions about Chambliss' size and age aren't going away, but his stock is going to remain solid as long as he's playing like a potential Heisman finalist.
8. Jayden Maiava, USC
It was a really nice weekend for Maiava, who was fairly pedestrian against Washington but impressed in a tough environment. Maiava threw for 301 yards and three touchdowns without an interception on the road against Penn State, ensuring he remains someone NFL teams can't forget about as the season presses on.
9. LaNorris Sellers, South Carolina (+1)
Are we seeing a LaNorris Sellers resurgence? Left for dead along with the rest of his team, Sellers followed up a nice day against Kentucky with a terrific performance in Gainesville, finishing 23-of-35 for 279 yards and five total touchdowns. Sellers didn't have a big day with his legs like he did against Kentucky, but he proved he can win with his arm. After a bye, Sellers could be a fast riser down the stretch this season.
10. Sam Leavitt, LSU (-1)
Leavitt continues to be good for an interception each game, but LSU's problems weren't exactly on him in an upset loss to Kentucky. The Tigers quarterback only had nine incompletions and accounted for three touchdowns in the loss. Still, he isn't jumping off the page like he might have to if he wants to grab the attention of NFL front offices like some of these other quarterbacks have.

11. Drake Lindsey, Minnesota
Minnesota was one of college football's biggest disappointments in Week 6, getting blown out by Purdue after a win over Michigan. Lindsey dealt with some accuracy issues, though he threw for 248 yards as the Golden Gophers tried to play catch-up in the midst of a defensive meltdown.

12. Austin Simmons, Missouri (New)
Simmons isn't coming off his best game by any stretch, as he was just 14-of-28 against Texas A&M as the running game went to work, but he's starting to get some NFL buzz. The former Ole Miss QB has 14 touchdowns to one interception through six games this season, and he has plenty of chances ahead to prove he's someone worthy of NFL attention.
