USA TODAY Sports revealed its college football NCAA Re-Rank 1-138 for week four on Monday. Nebraska once again moved up in the rankings, now sitting at No. 31.
The Huskers shifted six spots after winning their first Big Ten game of the season and improving to 4-0 for the first time since 2016. Nebraska defeated Michigan State on the road 31-13 to make the climb and now stand six spots outside the top 25.
The Huskers' win came in a wild weekend of football with multiple teams either dropping big or moving up big. UCLA took the biggest leap, going from No. 40 to No. 17 after decimating Maryland 54-3. Oregon returned to the top 25, climbing 11 spots to No. 21 after beating USC with backup quarterback Dylan Raiola. The Trojans fell to No. 22 after the loss.
Ohio State moved up to No. 5 following a 42-19 win over Illinois. Indiana slipped down to No. 10 after fending off Northwestern in a 29-23 Friday battle. Iowa jumped up to No. 14 following a last-second win over Michigan. The Wolverines dropped out of the top 25 with the loss to Iowa, now standing at No. 27.
Other Big Ten teams that shifted in the rankings include Penn State, Wisconsin, Minnesota and Washington. The Nittany Lions fell 17 spots after Wisconsin came back from a 17-point deficit to topple them.
The Badgers' win elevated them to No. 38 after entering the week at No. 60. Minnesota is now No. 44, jumping 17 spots after taking down Washington. The Huskies, after the loss, drop from No. 30 to No. 45.
