Minnesota came within seconds of a road upset after Luke Drzewiecki's 60-yard field goal made it 16-13 with 19 seconds left. Indiana matched that kick as regulation expired, scored on the first play of overtime and kept the Gophers out of the end zone to finish a 23-16 win.

Drake Lindsey completed 20 of 37 passes for 120 yards and a touchdown, including a 39-yard scoring throw to Roman Voss. Minnesota returns home to face UCLA on Nov. 7.
