Minnesota running back A.J. Turner has been named to the 2026 Comeback Player of the Year Award watch list, a 94-player group selected ahead of the college football season.
Turner appeared in three games in 2025 before a season-ending injury at California. He carried 16 times for 64 yards and a touchdown during that abbreviated campaign.
The award honors college players returning from injury, illness or other circumstances. Three recipients will be selected at the end of the season and recognized at the Fiesta Bowl.
