Texas A&M football hasn't defeated Alabama since 2021, but if the Aggies pull off a major upset over the Crimson Tide on Saturday, there is a path for the program to win all of their remaining contests.
That's according to ThatSECPodcast host Michael Bratton (SEC Mike) and Cousin Shane during Tuesday's podcast. The pair conjured the potential undefeated run from their discussion of what Texas A&M's record could be if they could knock off No. 13 Alabama in Tuscaloosa.
While none of the remaining games are easy by any means, the program's first victory on the road against the Tide since 2012 would provide the steam for Mike Elko's squad to steamroll through their remaining contests against South Carolina, Tennessee, Oklahoma and Texas, two of which are unranked opponents entering Week 8.
Here is the full clip from Tuesday's episode where SEC Mike and Cousin Shane discuss Texas A&M's chances of winning out:
What's A&M's final record if they beat the Tide?
If Texas A&M wins at Alabama (huge if, I know), the Aggies can beat everyone else on the schedule

Despite Cousin Shane discussing the possibility, he also expressed some hesitation. It's no secret how disappointing a season it's been for Texas A&M so far, a year after finishing the 2025 season 11-1 and reaching the College Football Playoff for the first time in program history.
CFP hopes are highly improbable at this point in the year for a three-loss team, but the Aggies could make things very interesting if they topple highly-touted sophomore quarterback Keelon Russell and the Tide's ball-hawking secondary, which ranks second in the SEC with 10 interceptions collected through the first seven weeks of the season.
Texas A&M's showdown against Alabama will kick off at 2:30 p.m. CT on Saturday. The game will be nationally broadcast on ABC.
