Bloomington is set for a massive gameday when Indiana football hosts North Texas for the 2026 season opener on Saturday.

There’s been a few changes to the gameday experience as the athletic department introduces improvements in and around Memorial Stadium. The changes include updates to tailgating procedures, brand new fan experiences, improved cellular service in and around the stadium a new IU Team Store pop-up shop and more.

Memorial Stadium will also host FOX’s Big Noon Kickoff pregame show, which is set to broadcast live from the South Lawn.

Here’s what to expect come Saturday:

Gameday Schedule

  • 7 am: Tailgating and parking lots open
  • 7:30 am: Big Noon Kickoff Tailgate opens on Memorial Stadium South Lawn
  • 9 am: AAA Championship Tailgate opens
  • 9:35 am: The Walk
  • 10 am: Big Noon Kickoff live show begins
  • 10:30 am: Gates open
  • 11:35 am: Marching Hundred pregame show
  • 11:40 am: 2025 National Championship signage unveiled
  • 12 pm: Kickoff
