No. 12 Texas Tech travels to Folsom Field on Saturday aiming to go 5-0 in the hunt for CFP honors, with Colorado standing in the way of that destination. Deion Sanders’ side were outclassed by Baylor in their last outing but return to Denver hoping to preserve an undefeated home record so far this year.

The Red Raiders, meanwhile, will round off a streak of three consecutive road fixtures before hosting ranked conference rival Houston in a fortnight. Joey McGuire’s side are living up to all pre-season expectations thus far and have a chance at revenge after losing 41-27 when these teams met in Texas two years ago.

The Buffaloes are expected to hand a first start to sophomore Isaac Wilson, brother of New Orleans Saints QB Zach, after he replaced Julian Lewis at halftime in the loss to Baylor. Wilson went 12 for 25 and 156 yards in the second half, including one touchdown pass, and led the team on two scoring drives at McLane Stadium.

Texas Tech packs a daunting one-two punch in the ground game through J’Koby Williams and Cameron Dickey, who have combined for 512 yards and seven TDs this season. Quarterback Will Hammond has thrown more interceptions (five) than touchdown passes (four) so far this year but hopes to outclass Wilson in Boulder.
