Colorado football is back at Folsom Field for its biggest test of the season.
The Buffaloes welcome No. 10 Texas Tech on Saturday evening, looking to pull off an improbable upset and snap a two-game losing streak. CU opened the season 2-0 before suffering consecutive Power Four losses to Northwestern and Baylor, with offensive struggles and self-inflicted issues the biggest concerns. The Buffs outgained both Baylor and Northwestern, but countless offensive drives stalled and kept points off the board.
Head coach Deion Sanders is set to make a change at quarterback, with Isaac Wilson taking over for Julian Lewis after Wilson sparked the Colorado offense when he came into the game at halftime last week. Defensively, Colorado needs its secondary to force Texas Tech quarterback Will Hammond into risky throws, which he is prone to do, leading the Big 12 with five interceptions.
Colorado has to play a near-perfect game to pull off an upset.

Odds via BetMGM as of Saturday afternoon.
- Texas Tech 28, Colorado 17: Texas Tech looked beatable against Sam Houston last week, but Colorado hasn't shown enough offensive firepower to make an upset believable. Isaac Wilson should help get the Go-Go offense moving, but the Buffs need to control the clock on the ground and capitalize on Will Hammond's turnover issues. If CU's defense can create short fields, Colorado can keep it close. Ultimately, Texas Tech is still too much for this version of the Buffs, but I don't expect a blowout. Here are our detailed staff predictions for the matchup.
- Spread: Texas Tech by 14
- Over/under: 49.5
- Money line: Colorado +450, Texas Tech -600
